RE: Summer Session Appointment Forms

To assist you with the Summer Session appointment process I have attached three documents. First, you will find a set of instructions that guide staff through the Summer Session appointment forms.  Following that are instructions that pertain specifically to graduate assistants and a sample offer letter for your use. It is not required for graduate students to be registered during the summer session in order to teach; however, please remember that they must be registered for 3 or more credit hours during the summer session to be exempt from FICA tax.

Please route your completed appointment forms, with the exception of Special Compensation forms, according to your established Org/Dept path and they will be automatically routed to Summer Session in the HR workflow system.
