Have you ever entertained the fantasy of being an actor? Or perhaps you've acted in high school or college or community theatre and wondered what would be needed to take the next step. In this session we will begin to explore the fundamentals of good acting. How do actors keep from being nervous and afraid? How do they keep their concentration when audiences or cameras are practically in their faces? How do they make roles their own while still being true to the writer's intention? And how do they create an emotional life for their characters? Using demonstrations and exercises, we'll try to answer some of these questions.
