A security vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0.8 and all previous versions on of Adobe Reader for Windows, Mac, and Linux computer systems. A malicious user who successfully exploits these vulnerabilities could take control of the affected system via either the Internet Explorer or Firefox web browsers.

We most strongly recommend that all Adobe Acrobat Reader users upgrade this package to version 8.0, which is not vulnerable to this security risk.
