Faculty and departments can take advantage of several resources in the development of new courses and the enhancement of existing courses. I encourage all departments and faculty members to consider applying for such funds, including this new program co-sponsored by CLAS and the Division of Continuing Education.

The DCE/CLAS Curriculum Development and Enhancement Fund. The Division of Continuing Education, in partnership with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, will sponsor up to seven course development/enhancement projects in Summer 2007. Development grants of $5000.00 per course may be taken as extra compensation to an individual or as departmental funds. Proposals will be accepted on an on-going basis up to May 1, 2007.
