Clinical-track Faculty Positions

To meet certain types of teaching and service needs in programs subject to professional accreditation, departments may request that the College authorize clinical faculty positions. The duties of clinical faculty focus on supervision of students enrolled in required practicum or internship experiences. Under College and University policy, clinical faculty cannot be used primarily to provide classroom instruction.

A department may request a salaried clinical-track faculty position in the same process that is used for allocating tenure-track faculty positions. Searches follow the procedures for tenure-track searches.
