The Job Description

Every staff postion in the College should have a job description. A job description includes the following components: basic function and responsibility & characteristics duties and responsibilities. For P&S, two additional categories are included: supervision received & supervision exercised. The description should be consistent in format with the University's Professional & Scientific standards description OR University's Merit standard description for the position classification.

Individual job descriptions should be more detailed and customized to the specific position than the generic University job description.
