Please sign one of the attendance sheets available at the door. 1. Discussion/amendment/approval of the minutes of the March 23, 2005 meeting of the Faculty Assembly. 2. Proposed changes in independent study policies. The Educational Policy Committee is submitting a proposal (pdf) for new policies concerning independent study. 3. Discussion of changes in block allocations from the Graduate College. Dean John Keller will be attending the meeting. 4. Report from Diversity Committee. Kate Cowles, chair of the Diversity Committee, will give a brief report. 5. Revitalization of the Faculty Assembly. Chair Sarah Larsen will present a proposed amendment to the CLAS Manual of Procedure regarding the powers and duties of the Faculty Assembly. 6. Continuation of discussion regarding the attack on the Department of Psychology last fall. 7. Election of officers. The nominating committee will present candidates for the officer positions of vice chair and secretary for 2005-06. Nominations will also be taken from the floor.
