The Mary Louise Kelley Professional Development Awards support the commitment of the College's staff to job-related continuing education, training, and professional activity. Staff members in the College apply for this award to help defray the costs of course work, workshops, training opportunities on or off campus, or attendance at regional, national, or international meetings.

She will go to Budapest from Florence next fall where she will visit the English language institute in Budapest which is directed by a former Linguistics teacher at UI. Maureen will already be in Florence for her extended trip to Italy.
