Students honored for interdisciplinary health research posters
Thirteen UI students won awards at the ninth annual Student Interdisciplinary Health Research Poster Session, held April 15 on the health sciences campus.
The winners were: Lindsay Compton, Matthew Conaway, Kristopher Day, Matthew Drescher, Lena Hann, Yvonne Kobayashi (a research fellow), Erika Levis, Geoffrey Lively (a visiting fellow), Melissa Lehan Mackin, Brandon Menke, Olayinka Oladimeji, Xiaoyun Pan and Rosalind Smith. Each received a $100 prize, courtesy of the UI's Office of the Provost, Center on Aging, Public Policy Center, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dewey Stuit Fund for Undergraduate Research.
