UI to host public forum on Voxman, Clapp and Hancher Oct. 12

The University of Iowa will host a public forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12 on possible replacement options and sites for Voxman Music Building, Clapp Recital Hall and Hancher Auditorium. The forum will be held in Macbride Auditorium.

Joe Hibbard of Sasaki and Associates will facilitate the forum and present information gathered since the last public forum on this topic, which was held July 9, before opening the floor to public comments.

Following evaluation by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in April, the Iowa Board of Regents endorsed a plan to replace the flood-damaged facilities, as well as the original Art Building complex.

UI Television will cover the forum and broadcast the event at the following times and days:
