Application for the Degree

To be considered for graduation, students must file an application for the degree with the Office of the Registrar by the date noted below at 4:30 p.m. The University does not confer a degree without first receiving the application from the student. For dates not listed, check the Registrar calendar.

Students who want to have a certificate or minor listed on their permanent record must inform the Office of the Registrar when they file for graduation so that completion of the requirements for the certificate or minor can be verified.

2008-2009 Deadlines for Filing an Application for the Degree

For Spring 2008 Graduation: February 29, 2008

For Summer 2008 Graduation: June 12, 2008*

For Fall 2008 Graduation: October 14, 2008

For Spring 2009 Graduation: March 6, 2009

Undergraduate students may file the degree application on ISIS for the current or the next session's graduation. Applications also may be submitted at the Registrar Service Center, 17 Calvin Hall or at Graduation Analysis, 1 Jessup Hall.

 

*Summer degrees are awarded but no summer graduation ceremonies are held.
